As Ozark Radio News reported Wednesday, May 14th, Hwy. 63 was closed for a cleanup of a head on collision of a tractor trailer and passenger car which resulted in a fatality. At 2:05 a vehicle driven by 64 year old Patton Anderson of West Plains crossed the center line and struck a tractor trailer driven by 36 year old Steven Gastinueau of Koshkonong. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. Gastineau was taken to OMC by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. The accident happend two miles south of West Plains on Hwy. 63.
